About Program
Master of science degree is a program lasting at least 2 years that includes 24 credit courses (10 elective and 14 obligatory), 1 seminar, clinical and laboratory work and thesis study. The program is available for veterinarians who have a 5 year-undergraduate diploma. Thesis topics include reproductive biotechnology, reproductive oncology, reproductive herd health, udder health and milk hygiene, pre- and post-partum problems and infertility in domestic animals. The students who complete the program succesfully, recieve the title of “scientific expert”. The masters degree program is divided into 2- “with thesis” and “without thesis”.
Goals
a) To obtain detailed knowledge and skills in veterinary obstetrics and gynecology field. b) To be familiar with basic problems, methods and historical developments in the field. c) To be able to follow recent developments and to comprehend scientific theories. d) To train researchers needed by the public institutions, private sector and universities who have ability of planning, conducting and concluding scientific research.
