Admission Procedure

Candidates who are placed by ÖSYM Presidency to study at our university make their applications on the announced dates via e-Government or by applying to the University personally. However, candidates who cannot apply personally due to their excuses can make their final registration through the proxy appointed by a notary public.

Foreign students who are entitled to study at our university are announced on the website after their application is evaluated. The students are required to complete the registration process during the exact registration dates announced by presenting the necessary documents.

Registration of national or international exchange students is made within the framework of bilateral agreements (Farabi, Erasmus, Mevlana or General Academic Protocol) signed between Ankara University and partner university. According to the conditions stated in the protocols, exchange students can study at AU for one or two semesters by taking suitable courses. An official transcript showing the grades and ECTS credits of all courses taken at the end of the semester is delivered to the student.
