Goals

The aim of the MA program in Islamic Philosophy is to educate researchers who have critical thinking ability, can produce knowledge in related fields, and who can share this knowledge in national and international areas, and to prepare successful MA students for Ph.D level studies.

Summary of Program Outcomes

Students possess specialized knowledge of the history of ideas and obtain the ability to research into civilizations by using specific methodology. Students learn essential knowledge of the field and major approaches within the field of Islamic Philosophy. Students learn how to investigate issues in Islamic Philosophy. Students identify main sources of Islamic Philosophy. Students conduct original researches in the field of Islamic Philosophy. Students know national and international works in the field of Islamic Philosophy.. Students acquire scientific and professional ethics. Students learn Arabic and Western languages well enough to benefit from the sources of the field. Students put their knowledge in service of public needs. Students participate in and contribute to various organizations. Students develop strategies on the subjects of the professional field.
