About Program
The educational activities maintains in order to train specialists that may help identify killed and over a long enough skeletonized past human and vertebrates of missing persons by examining the bone finds, law enforcement agencies, which may assist the coroner and prosecutors can take place disaster victims identification.
Goals
Forensic Anthropology Masters programme aims that mass burials of the identification of
skeletal remains to be issued (human-animal distinction), determining the
biological profile of the human skeleton, the identity of the cause of death
undetermined frame, the time of death, the identification of diseases and
variations in identification of natural disasters and terrorist events after
the rest of the human skeleton to undertake the provision of scientific and the
creation of trained staff to undertake the provision of technical support. The
teaching staff of the programme is still continuing their academic careers as
professionals, selected from different disciplines and has served in the
forensic science field and is composed of experienced scientists.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Having sufficient knowledge and skills related to forensic anthropology, analysing the relationship and interaction with other disciplines, working with harmony in teams or individual, sharing with the public the scientific achievements obtained in research, establishing a connection between practical applications and theorical informations, having the ability to find solutions and make comments for problems in scientific studies, having competence in the field of research, learning and application capabilities.
