About Program

Ankara University Graduate Program in Energy Engineering (English) will offer professional training at the master's degree level with thesis. The knowledge and combinations of basic science and engineering leads to new engineering fields to emerge. In this context, one of the distinguished engineering is Energy Engineering. The proposed program encompasses engineering areas dealing with energy efficiency, energy services, plant management / engineering. More interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work is gaining importance in the world. It is clear that the proposed program is suited to academic development due to its interdisciplinary collaboration. The rapid increase in world energy demand has led to developments in production methods and energy diversity, and in this context, it is the agenda to move the developments to the technological dimension. It is especially noteworthy to benefit developments in renewable energy sources. In this way, alternatives for energy production increase, while the protection of the environment is regarded. Our aim is to educate engineers and researchers who can work on the issues mentioned in the field of energy with this program.

Goals

The Master of Energy Engineering Program is designed for students who are motivated to take on the challenges facing society in the areas of sustainable energy generation, storage, and conversion. In this program, students will learn about alternative and conventional energy technologies, the societal and environmental impact of technology developments, and the economic benefits of those developments.
