About Program
Undergarduate program provides students with strong fundemantal knowledgeon basic sciences as physics, chemistry and mathematics and then more advanced courses are offered. Among these are conservation of mass and energy, seperation processes, reaction engineering, thermodinamics, transfer of heat, mass and fluents, process design and control, all of which constitute the base of the education. Technical facilities, computers and laboratories are widely used in teaching to promote the quality of education. The department has a highly advanced infrastructure of laboratories and also has the principle to keep the education up-to date in order to meet the requirements of society and new Technologies. In the last 4 semesters, there are a several elective courses which students can elect according to their interests. These elective courses provide students with a strong background of basic principles in biochemical engineering, environment engineering, advanced technology or process system engineering.
Goals
1. To educate students with fundamental chemical engineering principles, so they can apply these principles in the analysis, design and operation of chemical plants and also in their control in accordance with requirements of the systems. 2. To educate students who can work as managers or researchers at state owned or private institutions in the related subfields as food, ecology,biochemistry and process design engineering, 3 .To educate students as highly motivated researchers who are willing to take responsibility, cooperate and work efficiently within a group, 4. To educate students who always make use of available educational opprtunities as for even language and failities to improve themselves in their professions, 5. To educate students who are willing to benefit from new ideas and discuss such ideas in a ethical and professional manner
Summary of Program Outcomes
Graduates are able to make researchs on the production of the desired products and related production processes and than helps to design and set up the systems in an enviromently friendly and economical way and also make suggestions to the authorities of plants. As a producer he/she hooses the best enviromental friend process which can compete with others, supervises the production and with his skill and technical knowledge tries to solve problems faced during the production.
