Goals To explain the purpose and history of librarianship, to introduce medical and health sciences libraries among the types of libraries, to give information about electronic databases used in the field of medicine, to explain the library services provided to patients. In addition, it is to teach information resources and information access systems that can be used in accessing scientific information in the field of medicine and health sciences.

Learning Outcomes 1) Learns the concepts of library and librarianship profession.
