Goals To gain knowledge and skills about the basic concepts and principles of Radiation Oncology and Radiotherapy, the place of radiotherapy in cancers originating from various anatomical regions, the problems that may arise during radiotherapy and their solutions.
Course Content Radiation Oncology and Radiotherapy, Central Nervous System Tumors, Head and Neck Tumors, Thoracic Neoplasms, Breast Cancer, Gastrointestinal Tumors, Genitourinary Tumors Gynecologic Tumors, Childhood Cancers, Lymphoma and Hematologic Malignancies, Sarcomas and Skin Cancer
Learning Outcomes 1) Comprehends the role of radiotherapy, surgery and medical oncology in the treatment of various neoplastic diseases.
2) Comprehends the basic concepts and principles of Radiation Oncology and Radiotherapy.
3) Explains screening, diagnosis, grading and staging systems for each neoplastic site
