Goals It is aimed to define the concepts related to quality management in health services, historical development of quality management, techniques for measuring and improving quality, basic information about national and international quality and accreditation standards, theoretical knowledge and application competencies of quality management systems in the field of health.
Course Content The concept of quality and quality in health services, the importance of quality in health services, customer satisfaction in health services, pioneers of quality, development of quality in health services, measurement of quality, continuous quality improvement, total quality management, quality improvement methods, national and international quality certification, accreditation, quality awards, current Ministry of Health quality and accreditation practices.
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the concept and importance of quality in health services.
2) Knows the quality indicators in healthcare.
3) Can apply techniques for measuring and improving quality in healthcare services.
