Course Content What is art - art & science -art & people - art & life - place of music in life - musicotherapy - what is music - the birth and spread of music to the world-music definitions-styles and blue notes -ethnic and geographical music - jazz music and the birth of jazz-development and first applications -the place of jazz in music - history of jazz music - correlation between jazz and classical music - main features and some sub-genres of jazz - the difference from other music -harmony of jazz - big bands - vocal jazz and sample artists - the rhythm of swing and jazz - jazz basic applications - improvisation - in the world, european jazz - jazz in Turkey Dersin Dili
