Goals The objective of the course is to teach the general legal aspects and the theory of Turkish citizenship law, foreigners law, conflict of laws and international procedural law together with the perspective of practice.
Course Content The context of the course contains the introduction of the area of private international law in general, alongside with the general legal aspects, theory and practice of Turkish citizenship law, foreigners law, conflict of laws and international procedural law.
Learning Outcomes 1) Lists the concepts and institutions for the area of private international law
2) Analyses the theoretical basis of area of private international law
3) Implements the methodology of conflict of laws
4) Analyses the legislation, judgments and scientific sources related to the area of private international law
5) Lists and argues the problems that are faced due to the implementation of issues related to private international law
6) Analyses the different practices in the world, related to the solution of disputes arising out of private law relations with foreign element
7) Analyses and argues about the concept of private international law justice
8) Lists and argues about the matters related to private international law
9) Analyses the inter-relations between the concepts and institutions of private international law
10) Determines and evaluates the inter-relations between private international law and other areas of law
