Goals Aim of this course is to get theoretical and practical information about laboratory safety and first aid, labratory equipments and techniques, separation and purification methods of organic compounds and drug active compounds, computer aided drug design and development methods
Course Content In this course laboratory safety and first aid, laboratory equipments and techniques, computer aided drug design and development methods (QSAR, molecular modeling) are given. In this course it is also given separation and purification methods of organic compounds and drug active compounds such as extraction, distillation, crystallization, chromatography, HPLC and capillary electrophoresis.
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the principles about labratory safety, separation and purification methods of organic compounds and drug active compounds , analysis, computer aided drug design and development methods and learns international standarts.
2) Knows labratory safety, uses separation and purification methods of organic compounds and drug active compounds , analysis, computer aided drug design and development methods and determines its convenience for international standarts.
3) Determine which separation and purification, structure search method will be used and how can design and develop the synthetic pharmaceutical compounds .
4) Takes part of R&G studies which are needed for all kinds of analysis and quality control of organic compounds and drug active compounds, maintains professional progress.
