Goals Learning of North and South Mesopotamian cultures in the 2nd millennium BC
Course Content The material culture of the Old Assyrian and Middle Assyrian Periods and the Old Babylonian and Middle Babylon Periods, the interregional relations and the effects on the surrounding cultures
Learning Outcomes 1) The political structure of the Northern and Southern Mesopotamia in the 2nd millennium BC is examined in detail.
2) Based on the main examples, the understanding and development of Babylonian and Assyrian architecture are examined.
3) Relations between cultural regions are examined.
4) The artwork and artistic perspective of the period examined.
5) The Palace Art is examined in detail
