Goals This course aims to inform the archaeologists who will work in the museums and museums about the related issues and to create infrastructure for them.
Course Content The emergence and development of the concept of museum in history is explained in the light of archaeological data. Information about museum practices is given.
Learning Outcomes 1) It examines the structure of the museum, its function and museum types.
2) Discuss contemporary museum practices and their reflection in our country.
3) It examines the establishment and development of museums in the world and Turkey.
4) It examines the priorities and requirements to be observed in museum architecture and exhibition.
5) The museum acquires systematic exhibition editing skills.
6) They have information about environmental factors and ways of avoiding them.
7) Discuss the educational functions of the museums.
