Goals This course aims to introduce the soil and water resources of Turkey on the basis of water basins for students whose majors are not soil and water.
Course Content The content of this course is for students whose main field of study is not soil and water, basic soil formation, factors affecting soil formation, soil physical, chemical, and biological properties, and soil classification, and then Turkey's water basins and water resources. Soil and water properties, potentials, problems of water basins, deterioration in water and soil resources, and pollution factors will be covered. Water resources will be described in detail based on the soil characteristics of the basins. In this process, soil and water resources will be associated with agricultural activities.
Learning Outcomes 1) understanding of the formation of soils

3) Having general information about Turkey's soil and water resources
