Goals To give information about the sculpture in Mediterranean geography during the classical period to introduce and evaluate works.
Course Content Sculptural works from different regions during the classical period form the course content.
Learning Outcomes 1) It describes sculptural activities and productions between 480 and 330 BC in the Mediterranean World.
2) It gives information about sculpture production in Greece and Anatolia in the classical period.
3) It introduces the works and teaches them to make an analysis about the dating and evaluation by the style critique method.
4) By giving information about the periodical features and regional characteristics of the works, the student teaches methods of evaluating and commenting new works.
