Goals The aim of this course is to teach our students the basic concepts of radiography, radiological positioning and projections.
Course Content Main concepts of radiology; radiography techniques; General Anatomical Positions; Thorax Radiographs; Abdominal Radiographs; Cranial Radiographs; Vertebral Radiographs; Upper Extremity Radiographs; Lower Extremity Radiographs.
Learning Outcomes 1) Students know and define the main concepts of radiography technique.
2) Students know the main radiographic postures and can take the desired position to the patient.
3) Students correctly use assistive equipment in the patient preparation process for Radiographic examination.
4) Students, Thorax radiographs; Abdominal Radiographs; Cranial Radiographs; Vertebral Radiographs; Knows and uses Upper and Lower Extremity Radiographs and patient positioning and projection.
5) Students have a good command of professional ethics in radiological positioning.
