Goals The aim of this course is to get the knowledge about the development of Turkish and worlds novels/ short short stories from the beginning to the present time and as well the characteristics of the story which is a form of literature and different style of reading as well method of analysis of texts are being used.
Course Content In this course, The characteristics and short history of the institution of novel/short story is being researched, in Turkish literature as well as in world literature these kind of examples are being examined and analysis of text is being made.
Learning Outcomes 1) Students will be able to explain theoretical knowledge about the basic characteristics of the novel/short short story. 
2) Recognizes different approaches to reading novels/ short short stories. 
3) Read and compare novels/stories from World Literature and Turkish literature. 
4) Examines novel/story texts and compares different writing techniques. 
5) Compares novel/story and other fictional/narrative genres. 
6) Explains the features of short short story. 
7) To introduce the reference books of Turkish language and literature, acquired knowledge. 
8) The basic theory of Turkish Language and Literature and knowledge about the concept and terminology. 
9) Knowledge and skills intended to be acquired by the students 
10) The teaching of basic principle and rules of Turkish Language. 
11) Get the skill of best use of Turkish language in the filed of Turkish Language and Literature.
