Goals Introducing the basics of piano playing (hand position,posture), improving technical skills and studying on performance practice.
Course Content The basics of piano playing. The correct hand position and posture on the piano. Reading in two clefs. Understanding melody and accompaniment relationship. Performing the selected pieces up to a certain level.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learn the basics of reading music.
2) Learn the musical language of the selected pieces.
3) Have knowledge on formal structure of the pieces.
4) Have the ability to play by building a balance between the melody and accompaniment part.
