Goals To teach the origins of beliefs, thoughts, arts, institutions and values of Islamic civilization's sources, its main characteristics that distinguish it from other civilizations, to give students a general view on the present reflections and the position between world civilizations.
Course Content Sources of Islamic Civilization, Social, Economic, Cultural, Scientific Structure, The Effects of Islamic Civilization on the West, Important Scientists
Learning Outcomes 1) knows the sources of Islamic Civilization and the History of Islamic Civilization.
2) Knows the characteristics that distinguish Islam civilization from other civilizations.
3) It follows the contemporary studies about Islamic civilization.
4) It compares the spiritual dynamics of Islamic civilization with the current situation.
5) It evaluates the data about the influence of Islamic civilization to the West.
