Goals To make the students have the analysis capacity as to whether the main religious concepts and problems can be justified rationally as distinct from systematic and dogmatic theology and Kalam. To show the learn and use methots of primary and secondary sources.
Course Content Main Problems of Philosophy of Religion
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows classical and modern debates on religion-philosophy relation.
2) Analyzes religion as a fact with an objective perspective.
3) Knows arguments for existence of God and its atheistic critics.
4) Studies philosophical respects of basic religious concepts like revelation, miracle and faith.
5) Knows philosophical ant theological problems of God-universe, god-human relations.
6) Comparates truth and salvation claims of various religions.
7) Knows religious claims about creation and beginning of the universe; and scientific theories like big bang and evolution.
8) Studies conflict and combine theories about religion-science relation.
9) Develops ability tu abstract and to think conceptive.
10) Knows different views about the one and the same problem and therefore be able to have a tolerant mentality.
