Goals The aim of this course is to introduce to student transistor amplifiers, to make analysis, to be able to implement transistor amplifier applications, to recognize operational amplifier circuits and to learn how to analyze and operate these elements.
Course Content Structure, Types, Polarization, Working Zones and Working Characteristics of Transistors, Transistor Power Amplifier Classes, DC Analysis of Transistor Amplifiers, AC Analysis of Transistor Amplifiers, Transistor Amplifier Applications, Frequency Response of Transistor Amplifiers, Differential Amplifiers, Operational Amplifiers (OP-AMPs), Basic Amplifier Circuits, Filters, Oscillators.
Learning Outcomes 1) Uses the transistor as a switching and amplifier element
2) Uses it as inverting, non-inverting and difference amplifier of operational amplifier
3) Set ups adder and comparator circuit with operational amplifier
4) Set ups filter circuit with operational amplifier
5) Establishes oscillator circuits
