Goals The aim of this course is to introduce the concepts which is necessary to analyze analogue communication systems.
Course Content Amplitude modulation (AM), single-sideband modulation (SSB), vestigal-sideband modulation (VSB), amplitude demodulation, phase and frequency modulation (FM), FM demodulation, phase locked loop (PLL) circuits.
Learning Outcomes 1) To be able to analyze the time and frequency dimension of a signal.
2) Understanding the basic modulation and demodulation types
3) Understanding basic modulation and demodulation circuits
4) Understanding PLL circuits
