Goals The aim of this course is to gain the necessary knowledge and skills in social rehabilitation.
Course Content The definition of social work, objectives, functions and distinctive features, the definition of social rehabilitation, purpose, familial problems faced by the elderly, social problems faced by the elderly, mental health problems experienced by the elderly, protection of maintaining social life and self-confidence, Seniors' needs and expectations, for the elderly in aged care technicians attitudes and behavior, home management, and private home exercise programs, hobby and leisure activities, practices towards meeting the old physical needs of the elderly in daily living skills training, service models for the elderly, social rehabilitation services for the elderly.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain and discuss the concepts of social services.
2) Explain and discuss the concepts of social rehabilitation.
3) Explain and discuss social, familial and mental problemls in elderly.
4) Explain what the basic requirements and expectations in elderly.
5) Explain, discuss and offer suggestion how to behave older elderly care technician.
6) Older people exercise to be applied to explain and deal with hobby activities, determine the materials to be used and makes planning for the application.
7) Explains the social and rehabilitation services for older models of what was going on.
