Goals This course aims to common chronic diseases in old age, cause of disease, symptoms, signs, to gain knowledge about treatment and care.
Course Content It includes basic definitions and concepts related to health and disease, geriatric syndromes common in the elderly, their causes, diagnosis and treatment, respiratory system changes and common respiratory diseases in the elderly, age-related changes in all systems and common diseases in the elderly.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain the basic concepts of health and disease.
2) Explain normal body functions in older people.
3) Define geriatric syndromes unique to old age.
4) Explain the changes occurring in the system.
5) Define, explain and discuss abaout common diseases related to aging.
6) Individuals, families and the society in which state considers.
7) Individuals, families and other care giving informs about common diseases.
8) Individuals, families and other caregivers to communicate using effective ways of communication about common diseases in aging.
9) Follow developments regarding common diseases related to aging.
10) "Act in accordance with the rules consultancy about common diseases and aging. "
