Goals This course aims to common chronic diseases in old age, cause of disease, symptoms, signs, to gain knowledge about treatment and care.
Course Content Age-related changes in the neurological system and neurological system diseases in the elderly, Common psychiatric disorders and psychological changes related to aging, Age-related changes in the endocrine system and endocrine system diseases in the elderly, Age-related changes in the immune system and the most common infectious diseases and infectious diseases in the elderly, Age-related changes in the urinary system and urinary system diseases in old age, Age-related changes in the genital system and genital system diseases in the elderly, Age-related changes in the sensory organs and sensory organs diseases in the elderly.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain normal body functions in old people.
2) Explain what the changes occurring in the system related to aging.
3) Define common diseases related to aging.
4) In the management of common diseases of aging, consider the situation individuals, families and society.
5) Individuals, families and other care giving informs about common diseases and aging.
6) Individuals, families and other caregivers to communicate using effective ways of communication.
7) Follow developments in the common diseases of aging and that transfers to the elderly and other caregiver.
