Goals To gain qualifications about historical process of child, the concepts of growth and development of children, factors affecting development, principles of development, areas of development, critical periods in growth and development, an overview of developmental theories, developmental theories, developmental evaluation and follow-up process, the role of child development specialist, responsibilities and study fields of development specialists and the competence of team work and its importance in the development of the child.
Course Content In this course historical process of child, the concepts of growth and development of children, factors affecting development, principles of development, areas of development, critical periods in growth and development, developmental theories, developmental characteristics and needs of children with different development, developmental evaluation and follow-up process, child development the role, responsibilities and study fields of development specialists and the competence of team work and its importance in the development of the child are included.
