Goals Gaining information on qualitative and quantitative analysis of the drug molecules according to various pharmacopoeia.
Course Content Definition of Pharmacopeia and its historical development, Some terms and descriptions that takes place in pharmacopeias, Applications of some methods from Turkish pharmacopeia, Applications of some methods from European pharmacopeia, Applications of some methods from American pharmacopeia
Learning Outcomes 1) The relationship between the chemical structure and the analysis of the pharmaceutically active substances, qualitative and quantitative analysis
2) Knows the method principles and the validation method, defines compliance with the pharmacopoeia and the international standards
3) Knows instrumental analysis methods(UV, IR, NMR and Mass), reference sources to be followed and pharmacopoeia analysis for qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical active ingredients
4) Makes qualitative-quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical active ingredients by conventional and instrumental methods.
5) Makes qualitative-quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical active ingredients by conventional and instrumental methods.
