Goals To understand the basic concepts related to quality, total quality management and to understand the principle of total quality management, to have knowledge and skill about quality in health field.
Course Content Quality in management, total quality management, continuous improvement (Kaizen), quality circles, quality improvement tools, total quality management in the health sector
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the basic theoretical concepts related to total quality management in health institutions.
2) Explains the total quality practices at the basic level that should exist in health institutions.
3) Evaluates quality problems with case studies on health institutions.
4) The statistical evaluation methods that should be used in quality units of health institutions are listed
5) Creates quality plans for quality units in health institutions.
6) Works as unit manager and / or staff in the quality unit of health institutions.
