Goals To provide knowledge and skills about organic animal production.
Course Content The basic concepts and issues in the organic agriculture and organic animal production, the purposes of organic animal production, the standards used in organic livestock production, the certification of organic livestock production, the organic production techniques specific to the type of livestock, the current state and future of organic livestock production in the Turkey, the EU and the world, the relationship between organic animal production, climate change and rural development.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learn the basic concepts of organic agriculture and organic animal production.
2) Learn the purposes of the organic animal production.
3) Have knowledge about the standards used in organic animal production.
4) Have knowledge about the certification of organic animal production.
