Goals The course is designed to force students use analytical tools to conceptualize the design of international trade and financial markets and to critically evaluate current trade policies
Course Content Throughout the course international foreign exchange markets, price and income adjustment mechanisms of balance of payments, exchange rate policies, fixed and flexible exchange rate regimes and determination of exchange rate in developing countries, economic integration and the effect of international power balance and fiscal and monetary policies to provide internal and external balances will be discussed.
Learning Outcomes 1) students can analyse global and regional economic problems
2) Students be able to use theoretical literature to explain international economic developments
3) Students can use analytical methods to analyze international economic developments
