Goals In this course, the student is responsible for creating thesis content, conducting research, analyzing and synthesizing the findings, writing his thesis and presenting it within the framework of academic rules. For this purpose, thesis writing rules and basic principles regarding the writing of academic works will be discussed and applied in the thesis course.
Course Content In this course, formal and contextual principles regarding academic thesis writing will be examined.
Learning Outcomes 1) To be able to gain knowledge about the Basic Concepts and Applied Fields of Hittitology.
2) evaluates concepts and ideas, interprets and examines data through research methods in the social sciences
3) Ability to work within and across disciplines as a team
4) To have awareness of professional and ethical responsibility.
5) Ability to act independently, use initiative and creativity.
6) Ability to contribute to raising public awareness about hititology
7) Ability to improve oneself by embracing the importance of lifelong learning and following developments in science and technology.
8) Ability to use contemporary techniques, materials and application tools necessary for Hittitology studies.
9) Ability to evaluate Hittite tablets and interpret the results
10) To be able to comprehend other branches of science related to Hittitology and to reveal the relationships between them.
