Goals It is aimed to give students concept of Palaeolithic typology, morpho-typology in this concept and basic terms and concepts in operational chain prior to tool making.
Course Content The course covers the description of typology and its categories, the concepts of industry and tool, raw material used for tool making, debitage products and debitage waste.
Learning Outcomes 1) The general terms and concept concerned with the prehistoric archaeology
2) The interdisciplinary relations between the prehistoric archaeology and the earth sciences
3) The techno-typology of knapped stone tools in the prehistoric periods
4) The Pleistocene period’s ecology
5) Prehistoric art and the ideality and lifestyle of prehistoric man
6) The most important discoveries, which occurred and effected to the history of mankind in prehistoric periods
