Goals The aim of this class is to introduce students to computing and for them to learn its place within archaeological science. It is particularly explained how databases are prepared and with the aid of analytical programs how archaeological data are procured and their fundamental documentation purposes in archaeology. The student will learn in practice how to prepare and use a database.
Course Content In this class, the student will learn how the specifics of data are procured, how they are evaluated within categories and by preparing suitable databases how these data are evaluated.

3) The programs used as databases and basic software will be learned
