Goals The aim of the course is to make students in the field of biotechnology to be aware of ongoing ethical debates and to ensure that these concepts are taken into account in their publications and studies they plan to undertake throughout their careers.
Course Content In the course of ethics, the concept of ethics in general is emphasized, then ethical discussions which are confronted in different applications in the field of biotechnology and the decisions taken as a result of these discussions will be discussed.
Learning Outcomes 1) Students will gain knowledge on ethics.
2) Students will learn the basic principles of research ethics.
3) Students will learn publication ethics principles they need to pay attention while they prepare their thesis and preparing scientific publications.
