Goals The aim of this course is to provide the students the theoretical and practical knowledge on preparation and submission of a research project and a scientific manuscript.
Course Content Scientific publications will not have the value that they deserve if not provided in publicated forms no matter how they are important. Thus, the studies must be presented in a most proper way. In this course, the information of the important points of writing a scientific paper with its basic outlines will be given. Besides the meaning of scientific publications, the fundamentals of a paper and the information about publication process will also be mentioned. Finally it will be provided to students that practicing their knowledge gained in this course by writing a research project.
Learning Outcomes 1) The students who is enrolled in this course will learn the fundamental concepts/steps about scientific observation in order to prepare a research project and/or a scientific paper
2) The students who is enrolled in this course will learn the fundamental concepts/steps about proposing and testing a scientific hypothesis in order to prepare a research project and/or a scientific paper
3) The students who is enrolled in this course will learn the fundamental concepts/steps on the interpretation of research results in order to prepare a research project and/or a scientific paper
