Goals To gain perspective about develeopment of the basis of cancer immunothreapy, immunotheraphy and other treatment strategies combinations.
Course Content The role of immune system in cancer development and the immune responses against cancer and disease caused by this mechanism will be lectured. Biologic concepts of tumor immunology, cell and immunologic responses against neoplasms, metastasis immunology,tumor antigens, immune treatment in cancer,adoptive immunotherapy, gen therapy, cellular treatment,targeted therapy transplantation immunobiology will be lectured.
Learning Outcomes 1) At the end of this course, current knowledge about cancer immunology will be gained.
2) At the end of this course, the students will gain a perspective on the basis of cancer immunotherapy and the development of combination strategies of immunotherapy and other treatment modalities in cancer.
3) The students will learn to do project and present by asking current original questions about tumor immunology.
