Goals The aim of the course is to give information about evidence, stages of investigations and proesecutions, digital evidence collection. Morover, its aim is to present place of cyber crimes in the Turkish Criminal Law.
Course Content General Concepts in Information Systems, General Concepts of Cyber Crimes, Processing Forms and Structure of Cyber Crimes Cyber Crimes in Foreign Law, Place of Information Crimes in Turkish Criminal Law, Cyber Crimes placed in Special Laws, Collection of evidence in Cyber Crimes, Electronic Evidence, Investigation in Cyber Crimes, Prosecution in Cyber Crimes
Learning Outcomes 1) Students will learn general concepts of cyber crimes.
2) Student will understands the place of cyber crime and its place in Turksih Crime Law and Foreign Crime Law
3) Student will learn the methods of collecting evidence in cyber crime and the legal bases to be considered when collecting evidence.
4) Students will have information about the investigation and prosecution stages of cyber crimes.
