Goals To examine the methods and approaches to landscape design in urban landscape.
Course Content Landscape design approaches and principles in open and green areas (squares, pedestrian zones, streets, parks, resting and walking areas, sport areas and facilities, recreational facilities consisting outdoor-indoor units, shopping center environments etc.) which are located in urban areas and especially used for recreational purposes. The transfer process from design to application aspect. Evaluation and presentation stuides. To carry out design study on a case urban area.
Learning Outcomes 1) The legislation, regulations or policies in the agenda are knowledgeable about the sanctions of landscape design work in Urban Areas,
2) He specializes in landscape design methods and techniques in urban areas, produces solutions and applies them.
3) Gain experience and practice the stages and details of the studies carried out within the scope of Urban Design studies.
4) It acquires the ability to conduct joint discussions and studies with other related professions such as Architecture and Urbanism.
