Goals To educate the undergraduate students about the irrigation systems, methods, technologies, salinity and drainage with theoretical and practical information, to gain the theoretical and practical knowledge about studying, planning and projecting of the systems that can solve the drainage problem of agricultural areas
Course Content Irrigation, soil plant water relationships, plant water consumption, irrigation methods, irrigation water quality and troubled soil, drainage
Learning Outcomes 1) Irrigation systems, methods, soil and plant water relations, preparation of water for irrigation, water quality in the irrigation, drainage issues are the basic information.
2) General knowledge of irrigation and drainage
3) Knowing of irrigation methods
4) It gained the skills of examining and understanding irrigation and drainage projects in general.
5) Irrigation methods; gaining basic information about selection of suitable method, releasing irrigation, gliding irrigation, pan irrigation, sprinkling, micro sprinkling, collective sprinkling and drip irrigation methods.
6) Therotical and practical knowledgw about irrigation technics of recreational areas
7) They have basic knowledge about irrigation water quality and salinity.
8) Has basic knowledge about agricultural drainage, its benefits, benefits and problems.
9) Identify drainage methods and make evaluation in method selection.
