Goals Acquisition of engineering formation for the planning and projecting of all types of buildings and facilities in greenhouses
Course Content Introduction, greenhouse development in the world and Turkey, factors affecting the planning of greenhouses, selection of the greenhouse location, sizing, internal regulations, greenhouse structures found in the company and greenhouse facility center design, environmental control in greenhouses , the design of greenhouses ventilation system, the design of greenhouses cooling systems, design of greenhouses heating systems, design of irrigation systems in the greenhouses, greenhouse construction elements, project of greenhouse construction elements, determination of construction cost of landscapes, preparation of feasibility report in greenhouse projects.
Learning Outcomes 1) Understand the differences between plastic tunnels and greenhouses.
2) Determines the effective climate factors in the planning of greenhouses.
3) Understands the factors affecting the selection of greenhouse.
4) Recognize design criteria for sizing of greenhouses and arrangement of greenhouse interior.
5) Plans the systems required for the regulation of greenhouse climate conditions.
