Goals The objective of the course provide pharmacy students a comprehensive understanding of the metabolic pathways needed for the profession involving protein chemistry, enzymes, vitamins and coenzymes, carbohydrate chemistry, carbohydrate metabolism, oxidative phosphorilation
Course Content Protein Chemistry, Enzymes, Coenzymes, Vitamines, Carbohydrate Chemistry and Metabolism, Oxidative phosphorylation
Learning Outcomes 1) explains the basic metabolic pathways needed to protect people from diseases and to understand and interpret the biological action mechanisms of drugs in the treatment process
2) To understand the analysis of natural and synthetic pharmaceuticals, medicines and food supplements, their interactions, their pharmacogenetic properties,
3) To be able to conduct an advanced research, to have the ability to educate and guide society in the field of health
4) To have competence in lifelong learning, self-renewal and in the development of pharmacy services
