Goals The objective of the course provide pharmacy students a comprehensive understanding of the metabolic pathways needed for the profession involving lipids, proteins, amino acids, nucleotides and releated diseases, protein biosynhesisi, hormones and endocrine diseases, minerals, acid-base balance
Course Content Lipid chemistry, Lipid metabolism, Protein metabolism, Aminiacid metabolism, Nucleic acid metabolism, Mineralles, Acid-base balance
Learning Outcomes 1) will learn the basic metabolic pathways needed to understand andinterpret the mechanism of biological effects of drugs used in prevention and treatment process of human diseases.
2) understands the interactions and the pharmacogenetic properties of natural and synthetic pharmaceutical materialsand medical and dietary products, and and develops proposals for resolving challenges.
3) ) will be proficient to accomplish an advanced reseach project and will be competent for public education and guidance in the field of medicine.
