Goals Raising pharmacists who can analyse and make comments on the basic biochemical parameters in living beings for diagnosis and tracking of diseases during the application of pharmacy profession.
Course Content Qualitative laboratory tests based on the reducer properties of carbohydrates, Quantitative clinical biochemical tests for the determination of fasting blood glucose, Quantitative laboratory tests for lipids, Qualitative clinical biochemical tests for cholesterol determination in serum, Quantitative biochemical tests for protein determination in serum, Quantitative biochemical tests for mineral determination in serum, DNA isolation from biological material, Serum function tests in serum in clinical biochemistry laboratories, Serum function tests in clinical biochemistry laboratories, tests for the determination of urea and uric acid in clinical biochemistry laboratories. qualitative urine tests, some hematological laboratory tests
Learning Outcomes 1) Student has ethical, basic and technological knowledge in terms of life quality of patient.
2) Student can cary out various quality controls.
3) Student gains information regarding the usage of of pharmaceutical care products, fulfills an advanced level study about pharmacy, takes responsibility of studies encouraging healthy life and screening health status.
4) Student maintains his/her professional development, provides consultancy service to patients and other health professionals, reaches reliable and current information sources, plays role in evaluating and solving events and cases about development of pharmacy profession and education.
