Goals At the end of the course, the student gains experience by conducting qualitative and quantitative experiments on microscopic analysis, recognition reactions, acquisition of such active substances from droplets, tannins, volatile oils and lipids.
Course Content Microscopic analysis of glycosides, recognition reactions, acquisition of such active substances from droplets, qualitative and quantitative experiments on tannins, volatile oils and lipids.
Learning Outcomes 1) Microscopic analyzes of F.Menthae, F.Anisi, F.Eucalypti, Fl.Chamomillae, R.Valerianae and Gallae drugs which constitute the subject of the pharmacognosy gain accumulation
2) Pharmacopoeial analysis is performed for tannin and tannic acid
3) Various analyzes of medicinal teas are important in pharmacy
4) Qualitative analysis of coumarin, phenol heterozygous, flavonosit and anthocyanins in medical plants are performed.
5) Volumetric and gravimetric quantitative determination of essential oils in medical plants
6) Total aldehyde and total alcohol content determinations are made in volatile oils found in medical plants.
7) Pharmacopoeial analyzes of essential oils found in medical plants are performed.
