Goals Determination of blood ethyl alcohol; Screening of cyanide and carbon monoxide; Isolation and identification experiments of barbiturates by liquid-liquid extraction; Lead analysis by ditizone extraction method; Delta-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) assay in urine for evaluation of lead exposure; Toxicological analyzes in food products; Toxicological analyzes on water, milk, daily foods and edible oil samples; Chromatographic separation and quantitation methods applied in toxicology; Identification of phosphorous insecticides by thin layer chromatography; To give information about analysis of narcotics by thin layer chromatography
Course Content Determination of blood ethyl alcohol; Screening of cyanide and carbon monoxide; Isolation and identification experiments of barbiturates by liquid-liquid extraction; Lead analysis by ditizone extraction method; Delta-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) assay in urine for evaluation of lead exposure; Toxicological analyzes in food products; Toxicological analyzes on water, milk, daily foods and edible oil samples; Chromatographic separation and quantitation methods applied in toxicology; Identification of phosphorous insecticides by thin layer chromatography; Analysis of narcotics by thin layer chromatography
Learning Outcomes 1) "Toxicological knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials and their toxicological analysis and evaluation in the process from production to consumption."
2) Could consider the safe effects of the natural and synthetic chemicals (drugs, cosmetics and nutrient contaminants) to the human and environment health and develop suggestions
3) Have the ability to research a study related to population health and make a contribution to the carrier development
