Goals At the end of this course, the student will have general knowledge about natural drug raw materials and the infrastructure related to the drugs obtained from these drug raw materials. It can also serve as a basis for vocational courses for the area that he or she chooses to take in the following years, exploring the daily vitality and importance of natural drug raw materials and drugs.
Course Content General properties of alkaloids and their carrying drugs; general properties (definition, physical properties, recognition reactions, acquisition, quantification effects) of protites, enzymes, vaccines and serums are given and then the drugs carrying these agents are explained.
Learning Outcomes 1) General information about alkaloids, which is a group of active compounds having important pharmacological effects, which has general knowledge of alkaloid-bearing drugs which make up the pharmacognosine-related substance, tropane alkaloids, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, protoalkaloids, indole alkaloids, imidazole alkaloids, purine alkaloids, reduced pyridine alkaloids, terpene alkaloids , has knowledge about steroidal alkaloids as well as protites and enzymes, accumulation
2) Gain awareness of the risks and the increase of the consumption conception of natural pharmaceutical raw materials and medical plants
3) Gain the ability to apply knowledge in the field of study
4) Gain knowledge and skills about daily use of medical plants and natural products
5) Communicate scientific data about the use of natural-origin medicines and foodstuff products to the community and other health care personnel
6) Communicates effectively with pharmacy patients and other health care providers
7) .Provides counseling to patients, patients and other health professionals on the rational, safe use and pharmacovigilance of medicines and non-medicinal products
