Goals Developing a conceptual and theoretical approach to money. Acquiring a conception of the monetary processes in the economy.
Course Content In this course, firstly, methodology of the social sciences is handled. Following this, the "concept of money” is discussed. This is followed by a discussion of the basic issues of the economic processes that are realized by the mediation of money. The course is completed with a discussion of the economic and social effects of the monetary policy applications.
