Goals Introducing fundamental concepts of constitutional law and the basics of Turkish constitutional law
Course Content The concept of constitution is introduced in relation to law, politics and state. Outstanding natonal cases of modern constitutionalism is studied. Turkish constitutionalism is studied and the basics of the Constitution at force is introduced.
Learning Outcomes 1) Understanding basic concepts of constitutional law
2) Understanding common features of democratic constitutions
3) Understanding the notion of separation of powers and its institutional varieties, i.e. typical forms and key examples of government systems and state structures.
