Goals To establish and explain the relations with political regimes in the development of political thoughts. To make students aware of the relationships between political thought and practices and to evaluate the basic components of these relationships.
Course Content The course begins with the relationship between political knowledge and political power. It follows the traces of political thought from ancient Greece to the present.
Learning Outcomes 1) 1.Defines the concepts of history and historiography
2) 2. Defines positivist historiography and criticism towards it.
3) 3. Distinguish the broadness of the communication concept.
4) 3.1 Periodizes the concept of communication from the beginning of human history.
5) 4.Explain the concept of oral culture
6) 5.Makes a comparison between oral and written culture
7) 6. Distinguish that the history of communication has gained meaning in a general and holistic structure.
